UN Special Session on Goldstone Report Adalah to Give Statement on Lack of Accountability for Palestinians Victims in Gaza

Haifa, 14 October 2009) Tomorrow, Thursday 15 October and Friday 16 October 2009, the UN Human Rights Council will hold a special session in Geneva, as requested by the Palestinian Authority, in which the Goldstone report (UN Fact-Finding Mission on the Gaza Conflict) will be addressed.
The request for the special session is co-sponsored by 18 member states of the Human Rights Council.Attorney Fatmeh El-‘Ajou will represent Adalah at the special session to discuss the issue of the lack of Israeli domestic remedies for Palestinian victims from the OPT injured or killed by Israeli military forces and the need for a strong and united international community to end impunity.
