Adalah Co-organizes Seminar with UN Special Rapporteur on Adequate Housing

On 10 January 2002, Dr. Miloon Kothari, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on adequate housing, will speak at a seminar at Ben Gurion University in Beer el Sebe. The seminar will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the VIP Room of the Student Union Building, next to Ulam Kenassim B. Dr. Kothari will discuss matters of policy and international involvement in housing issues. The seminar is co-organized by Adalah and Professor Oren Yiftachel, Chair of the Geography Department, Ben Gurion University.

After the event, Dr. Kothari will meet with the Regional Council of Unrecognized Villages. Later, he will visit several unrecognized villages in the Naqab, accompanied by Adalah Staff Attorneys Morad el Sana, Suhad Bishara and Jamil Dakwar.
