Join Adalah’s media/communications team
Adalah is expanding its media/communications team and is seeking talented and creative individuals to help us fight for human rights. If you excel in writing, storytelling, design, or content creation and are enthusiastic about our mission, we want to hear from you.
Adalah is looking for candidates who can translate legal work into clear, engaging, and accessible media for diverse audiences in Arabic, Hebrew and English. Your role will be crucial in supporting our outreach to journalists, our advocacy efforts, in raising public awareness, and promoting our mission through various media and social media channels.
If you have knowledge and experience in any or some of the following fields, you might be the right person to join us!
- Proficiency in writing and speaking skills in at least two of the following languages: Arabic, English, and Hebrew
- Strong press relations skills to build and maintain relationships with journalists and editors, media outlets, craft press releases, and manage media inquiries effectively.
- Experience in editing op-eds, articles, and professional publications, with abilities to assist authors on enhancing clarity, structure, and impact.
- Experience in website management, including content updates, user experience optimization, and proficiency with content management systems; experience in working with external contractors on building a new website
- Skills in graphic design, photography, video editing, and social media content creation and management and a desire to craft compelling visual content that aligns with our mission.
These jobs can be part-time or full-time positions with presence in Adalah's office in Haifa. The salary is commensurate with experience and based on Adalah’s salary scale.
