PRESS BRIEF | Adalah submits court motion requesting to combine cases for evacuation of Al-Bqeaa village
Israeli state authorities have issued eviction orders and displacement lawsuits targeting 78 residents of Al-Bqeaa in Naqab (Negev).
On 13 September 2022, Adalah and Al-Meezan Center filed a motion to Be’er Sheva Magistrates Court requesting to consolidate the hearings in 13 lawsuits for eviction of residents of the unrecognized Bedouin village of Al-Bqeaa in the Naqab (Negev). Adalah submitted defense arguments to the Magistrate's Court on 1 April 2022 on behalf of 78 residents of Al-Bqeaa in order to freeze eviction orders and displacement lawsuits that were issued against the residents by Israeli state authorities.
